We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
This quote, orginally stated by Buddha, centuries ago, was, and still is quite true. The notion that we are the ones that control what happens in our world, just through the course of our thoughts is an empowering yet overwowming reality. As a matter of fact, the human mind is not aware of its own capability to change or control things inside the human body, as well as outside. The mind is a truly amazing thing when it allows itself to be. The fact that we have invented every bit of techonology out of the simple idea of it being able to be created, is quite mindblowing if you let yourself think about it.

The catholic convention I chose, is their position against abortion. The fact that the church doesnt see this as a viable choice for women, can cause social repercutions, overall in religious societies. The debate about abortion goes beyond religion, but is also afected by the fact that the catholic church has an opinion against it , and has taken a public stand, calling abortion murder and influenciating some political leaders against it.
The fact that so many women are denied the option to abort, causes the presence of unfit mothers and undissiplined children running around in society, causing trouble. My theory is, that the countries in which abortion is ilegal, causes an increase in the analphabetism rate in the countries.
